4 <br /> R E S O L U T I O N N 0, 2853 <br /> RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT <br /> MARSHALL STREET <br /> (MAIN STREET TO WALNUT STREET) <br /> WHEREAS the Council of the City of Redwood City did, in open <br /> session, on August 17, 1959 , publicly open, examine, and <br /> declare all sealed proposals or bids for doing all the work and <br /> making all the improvements described in Resolution of Intention <br /> No. 2796 of said Council, passed and adopted by said Council on <br /> July 20, 1959 , to which resolution reference is hereby <br /> made for further particulars; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY RESOLVES as <br /> follows: <br /> 1. That said Council hereby rejects all said proposals or <br /> bids for doing the work of making the improvements described in <br /> said Resolution of Intention No. 2796 , except that next herein <br /> mentioned, and hereby awards the contract for doing said work and <br /> making said improvements to the lowest, regular, responsible bidder, <br /> to wit: <br /> at the prices named in bid, to which bid reference is <br /> hereby made for further particulars. <br /> 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to publish a notice of <br /> this award in the Redwood City Tribune, a daily newspaper (except <br /> Sunday), published, printed and circulated in said City of Redwood <br /> City, and hereby designated for that purpose by the Council of said <br /> City. <br />
