MINUTE ORDER <br /> REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY MEETING <br /> CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br /> <br /> March 24, 2003 <br /> MO RD 03-15 <br />CITY CLERK DEPARTMENT <br />Redwood City <br /> <br />DATE: March 24, 2003 <br /> <br />Attention: City Attorney <br /> Community Development <br /> <br />SUBJECT: First Amendment to the Construction and Reimbursement <br /> Agreement for Relocation of a Reinforced Concrete Box Culvert in <br /> the Downtown area and appropriation of funds for the culvert <br /> relocation <br /> <br />AGENDA ITEM: 4.C <br /> <br />Meeting of the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Redwood City on March 24, 2003 <br />Present: Directors Hartnett, Howard, Pierce, Ruskin and Chair person Claire <br /> <br />Absent: Director Jordan, (Vice Chair Ire - left the dais due to conflict of interest) <br />The following motion was made, carried and entered on the Minutes: <br /> <br /> M/S HartnettJRuskin to: <br /> 1. Approve the first Amendment to the Construction and Reimbursement <br /> Agreement with BHV Innisfree Ventures I, LLC, developers of the Downtown <br /> Retail-Cinema project, for demolition of an existing culvert and construction of a <br /> new concrete box culvert in order to allow for future construction of an <br /> underground public parking garage beneath the retail-cinema project and <br /> authorize the City Manager and the Redevelopment Agency Executive Director <br /> to make any non-substantive changes and execute same. <br /> 2. Approve by resolution no. RD 03-78 the appropriation of $3.7 million for the <br /> construction of the culvert from the Redevelopment Agency budget. These funds <br /> are part of the $20 million loan from the City to the Agency that will be paid back <br /> from a future Redevelopment Agency bond issuance. <br /> <br /> The motion passed by a unanimous roll call vote by those present, with Director Jordan <br /> absent and Vice Chair Ira abstaining due to conflict of interest. <br /> <br /> Patricia Howe <br /> Redevelopment Agency Secretary <br /> <br /> <br />
