01/10/2011 <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 15077 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING THE MEMORANDUM OF <br /> UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AND <br /> THE SAN MATEO COUNTY FIRE FIGHTERS, INTERNATIONAL <br /> ASSOCIATION OF FIRE FIGHTERS LOCAL 2400, FOR THE PERIOD <br /> OF JANUARY 1, 2010 THROUGH DECEMBER 31, 2013 <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of the Meyers - Milias Brown Act (Section <br /> 3500 et. seg., Government Code), representatives of the City and San Mateo County <br /> Fire Fighters, International Association of Fire Fighters Local 2400 have met and <br /> conferred in good faith regarding the wages, hours and other terms and conditions of <br /> employment, in an attempt to reach and enter into a Memorandum of Understanding <br /> (MOU); and <br /> WHEREAS, the parties have reached agreement with respect to matters <br /> herewith jointly set forth, and have developed a written understanding of such matters <br /> for the purpose of presenting it to the City Council for its determination. <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS <br /> FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. That the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) by and between the City <br /> of Redwood City and the San Mateo County Fire Fighters, International Association of <br /> Fire Fighters Local 2400, for the period January 1, 2010 through December 31, 2013, a <br /> copy of which is attached hereto, is hereby approved, and the City Manager is hereby <br /> authorized to execute same. <br /> 2.
