RD-85-04 RD 85-04 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OR SECRETARY <br /> TO ACCEPT DEEDS OR GRANTS ON BEHALF OF THE <br /> REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Section 27281 of the Government Code of the State <br /> <br /> of California requires that deeds or grants conveying any <br /> interest in or easement upon real estate to a political <br /> corporation or governmental agency for public purposes shall not <br /> be accepted for recordation without the consent of the grantee <br /> evidenced by its certificate or resolution of acceptance attached <br /> to or printed on the deed or grant; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, said Section 27281 provides a method whereby one or <br /> <br /> more officers or agents may be designated by the governmental <br /> <br /> agency to accept such deeds on its behalf; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> ACTING AS THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> The Executive Director and the Secretary of the <br /> Redevelopment Agency of the City of Redwood City are hereby <br /> designated as authorized officers of the Agency for the purpose <br /> of acceptance of deeds or grants, and either officer shall be <br /> authorized to accept, on behalf of the Redevelopment Agency of <br /> the City of Redwood City, any deed or grant conveying any <br /> interest in or easement upon real estate to the Redevelopment <br /> Agency of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br /> RD 85-04 <br /> <br /> <br />
