411 110 DES:yc :3/1/71 <br /> Ora ',G11 Al <br /> 111 <br /> R E S O L U T I O N PO 1 11 <br /> NO. <br /> RESOLUTION DECLARING CERTAIN DESCRIBED CITY -OWNED <br /> PROPERTY SURPLUS; AND AUTHORIZING SALE THEREOF AT <br /> PUBLIC AUCTION <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City is the owner of certain <br /> property hereinafter described; and <br /> WHEREAS, this Council received evidence that the hereinafter <br /> described property is not needed for present or prospective <br /> municipal or public purposes; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Assessor has appraised said property and <br /> determined the current reasonable market value thereof; and <br /> WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council <br /> to declare said property surplus and authorize its sale in <br /> accordance with Section 3 -1/2 of the Charter of the City of <br /> Redwood City; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. That this Council hereby finds that the hereinafter <br /> described City -owned property is not now needed for any municipal <br /> or public purpose and will not be needed for any municipal or <br /> public purposes in the future, and hereby declares said property <br /> to be surplus property. <br /> 2. That the City Clerk be and she is hereby authorized <br /> and directed to advertise the hereinafter described surplus <br /> property for sale by public auction to the general public in <br /> accordance with Section 3 -1/2 of the Charter of the City of <br /> Redwood City. Said sale shall be conducted in accordance with <br /> the following terms: <br /> (a) A public auction shall be conducted at the place, and <br /> on the date and time fixed by the City Clerk and set <br /> out in the notice of sale therefor. <br />
