CGM:lt:2/23/73 <br /> <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> FEB 26, 75 <br /> R E S O L U T I O N NO. 6873 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR <br /> LANDSCAPE IMPROVEMENTS FOR PENINSULA PARKWAY - <br /> SECTION 2 FOR REDWOOD CITY GENERAL IMPROVEMENT <br /> DISTRICT NO. 1-64; AND AUTHORIZING CITY CLERK TO <br /> CALL FOR BIDS THEREFOR <br /> WHEREAS, there have been presented to this Council certain <br /> plans and specifications for the construction of landscape improve- <br />! <br /> ments along Section 2 of Peninsula Parkway for Redwood City General <br /> Improvement District No. 1-64; and <br /> WHEREAS, this Council has reviewed the same and desires to <br /> signify its approval thereof and authorize the City Clerk to adver- <br /> tise for bids for the doing of such work; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS : <br /> 1. Those certain specifications entitled "Documents and <br /> Specifications for the Construction of Peninsula Parkway Land- <br /> scaping Section 2 - 645-5-76 for Redwood City General Improve- <br /> ment District No. 1-64 - Redwood City, California" and those <br /> certain plans entitled "Redwood City General Improvement District <br /> No. 1-64 - Redwood City, California - Construction Drawings for <br /> Landscaping of Peninsula Parkway - Section II, " 'prepared by Daniel, <br /> Mann, Johnson, & Mendenhall, and on file in the office of the City <br /> Engineer, are hereby approved. <br /> 2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> advertise for bids for the doing of such work in accordance with <br /> the plans and specifications therefor, said advertisement to be <br /> in the form of that certain notice to contractors set forth in the <br /> above mentioned specifications. <br />
