RJC.ek 1/27/65 -7 <br />z <br />453E <br />R E S O L U T I O N N O. <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF SURPLUS <br />CITY- O]dNED REAL PROPERTY <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City is the owner of the here- <br />inafter described real property; and, <br />WHEREAS, this Council has received evidence that the herein- <br />after described property is not needed for municipal purposes, <br />and that the City Assessor has appraised the herein described <br />property and has determined that the current market value of each <br />parcel is equal to or is less than the minimum acceptable bid <br />hereinafter stated; and, <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br />declare said property surplus and authorize the sale thereof; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. This Council hereby finds and determines that the <br />hereinafter described parcels of real property are not needed <br />for present or future municipal purposes and that the current <br />market value thereof if equal to or is less than the minimum <br />acceptable bids hereinafter stated. <br />2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to ad- <br />vertise for sale to the general public in accordance with Sec- <br />tion 3 -1/2 of the Charter of the City of Redwood City, that certain <br />real property situate in the City of Redwood City, County of <br />San Mateo, State of California, more particularly described as <br />follows: <br />Parcel No. One <br />A portion of Lot 28, Block 11, as said lot and block are <br />shown on that certain map entitled "Highlands of Emerald <br />Lake Subdivision ones` recorded January 12, 1926, in the <br />office of the Recorder of SEn Mateo County, California, <br />in Volume 13 of Maps at Pages 24, 25, 26 and 27, being <br />more particularly described as follows: <br />
