Co <br /> RESOLUTION NO. P- 2135 <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING GRANT FROM THE DEPARTMENT <br /> OF HOMELAND SECURITY FEMA — PORT SECURITY GRANT <br /> PROGRAM AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF THE <br /> AGREEMENT BETWEEN PORT AND THE MARINE EXCHANGE <br /> OF THE SAN FRANCISCO BAY REGION <br /> WHEREAS, Port obtained approval for funding of a grant (the "Grant ") <br /> from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) on behalf of the <br /> Department of Homeland Security (DHS); and <br /> WHEREAS, the Marine Exchange of the San Francisco Bay Region <br /> (SFMX) has been appointed by FEMA on behalf of the DHS, to act as Fiduciary <br /> Agent (FA) for the administration and management to the Port Security Grants <br /> Program under this Grant; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Grant is in the amount of $542,490.00; and <br /> WHEREAS, Port has reviewed the document entitled "Sub- Grantee <br /> Agreement." <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF PORT COMMISSIONERS OF <br /> THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. The City of Redwood City, acting by and through its Board of Port <br /> Commissioners, accepts the Grant in the amount of Five Hundred Forty Two <br /> Thousand Four Hundred Ninety and No /100 Dollars ($542,490) from FEMA on <br /> behalf of the DHS and approve the Sub - Grantee Agreement as of the date its <br /> execution and declare that the Port Executive Director (Port Manager), and /or his <br /> Reso 184 <br /> 1 <br /> 04/19/2011 <br /> FXS <br />
