ORIGINAL <br /> <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> FOR PROFESSIONAL ARCHAEOLOGY SERVICES <br /> [BASIN RESEARCH ASSOCIATES, INC.] <br /> <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this ~ day of <br />~ ,2003, by and between the REDWOOD CITY REDEVELOPMENT <br /> <br /> AGENCY ("Agency"), and BASIN RESEARCH ASSOCIATES, INC., of San Leandro, <br /> California ("Consultant") (collectively, the "Parties"). <br /> <br /> WITNESSETH: <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Agency proposes to perform excavation work pertaining to the <br /> downtown retail/cinema parking structure in the City of Redwood City (the "Project"); <br /> and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in connection with the Project, the Agency requires professional <br /> archaeological services; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Consultant represents that it possesses the experience, and is <br /> qualified to perform the aforesaid services for the Project. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. CONSULTANT'S SERVICES. Consultant shall perform amhaeology and <br /> related services further described in Exhibit "A" hereof, attached hereto and by this <br /> reference incorporated herein. <br /> <br /> 2. COMPENSATION; EXPENSES; PAYMENT.
