AGREEMENT <br /> FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES <br /> <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this ~ ~ day of <br /> ,-3 <br />.,~ i~:~ , 2003, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a charter <br />city and municipal corporation of the State of California ("City"), and CAMP DRESSER <br />& MCKEE, INC. (CDM) ("Consultant"). <br /> WITNESSETH: <br /> WHEREAS, City proposes to perform studies to evaluate the existing lagoon <br />circulation system in the City of Redwood City (the "Project"); and <br /> WHEREAS, in connection with the Project, the City requires professional <br />engineering services; and <br /> WHEREAS, Consultant represents that it possesses the experience, and is <br />qualified to perform the aforesaid services for the Project; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree as follows: <br /> 1. CONSULTANT'S SERVICES. Consultant shall perform engineering services <br />relating to field tests and hydraulic analyses by installing and monitoring temporary <br />pump stations on the Redwood Shores Lagoon, and related services described in <br />Exhibit "A" hereof, attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein. <br /> 2. COMPENSATION; EXPENSES; PAYMENT. City shall compensate <br />Consultant for all services performed by Consultant hereunder in an amount based <br />upon Consultant's hourly rates that are prevailing during the time of the performance of <br />said services.
