RD-97-03 RD 97-03 RD-97-3 RD 97-3 <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE <br /> CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AUTHORIZING ACQUISITION OF <br /> PROPERTY AND THE EXPENDING OF FUNDS THEREFOR, AND <br /> THE INSTITUTION OF EMINENT DOMAIN PROCEEDINGS <br /> <br /> ASSESSOR'S PARCEL N0S. 053-233-200 <br /> (OWNER: CHARLES E. BOICELLI) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Community Redevelopment Law, Part 1, Division 24 of <br />the Health and Safety Code of the State of California Sections 33342 <br />and 33391, and Code of Civil Procedure Sections 1230.020, 1240.110, <br />1240.120 and 1240.130, et seq., provide for the acquisition of <br />private property for redevelopment purposes, namely, the clearance <br />and elimination of blight; and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Redwood City <br />(hereinafter "Redevelopment Agency") has heretofore adopted the <br />Redevelopment Plan for Redevelopment Project No. 2 by Ordinance No. <br />1862, as amended by Ordinance No. 1911 (Amendment No. 1 to the <br />Redevelopment Plan for Redevelopment Project No. 2) and by Ordinance <br />No. 2007 (Second Amendment to the Redevelopment Plan for <br />Redevelopment Project No. 2) and by Ordinance No. 2085 (Amending <br />Redevelopment Plan for Redevelopment Project No. 2), hereinafter <br />collectively referred to as the "Project"; and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the acquisition of the land and property hereinafter <br />described is necessary for redevelopment purposes as part of the <br />Project; and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Community Redevelopment Law authorizes the <br /> acquisition of real property by negotiated purchase and by eminent <br /> domain; and, <br /> <br /> (page 1 of 7) <br /> <br /> <br />
