03/26/01 ORIGINAL RESOLUTION NO. RD-01-62 A RESOLUTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY APPROVING THE REPORT TO CITY COUNCIL, FORWARDING THE FIFTH AMENDMENT TO THE PLANNING COMMISSION AND CONSENTING TO A JOINT PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED FIFTH AMENDMENT TO THE REDEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT # 2 WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Redwood City (the "Agency") is in the process of preparing the Fifth Amendment to the Redevelopment Plan (the "Fifth Amendment") for Redevelopment Project # 2 (the "Project"); and WHEREAS, the staff of the Agency has prepared a draft of the Fifth Amendment and the Report to City Council on the Fifth Amendment; and WHEREAS, Section 33346 of the California Community Redevelopment Law (Health and Safety Code Section 33000 et seq.) requires that the Planning Commission prepare a Report and Recommendations on the Fifth Amendment; and WHEREAS, Section 33355 of the California Community Redevelopment Law authorizes a joint public hearing on the proposed Fifth Amendment with the consent of the Agency and the City Council of the City of Redwood City (the "City Council"). NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: 1. The Agency approves the Report to City Council and submits the Report along with the draft Fifth Amendment to the City Council. 2. The Agency directs staff to submit the draft Fifth Amendment to the Planning Commission. 3. The Agency consents to, and requests that the City Council consents to set a joint public hearing of the Agency and the City Council on June 11, 2001, at or after 7 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, 1017 Middlefield Road, Redwood City, California, to consider and act upon the proposed Fifth Amendment and all documents and evidence pertaining thereto. 5th Amendment Resolution for 3/26/01 AK: 3/8/01
