REG.ek 1/17/66-7 <br /> •`�� _ . , • <br /> R E S O L U T I O N N O. - �E� <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ACCEPTANCE OF DRAINAGE EASEMENT IN <br /> EXCHANGE FOR CERTAIN OTHER REAL PROPERTY OWNED BY THE CITY <br /> OF REDWOOD CITY AND AUTHORI�ING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT IN <br /> CONNECTION THEREY7ITH <br /> Y7F�REAS, the City of Redwood City desires to install certain <br /> drainage facilities across lands owned by the Pacific Gas and <br /> . �.. <br /> Electric Company on an alignment different from the alignment <br /> heretofore utilized for drainage purposes in'the area; and <br /> WHEREAS, Pacific Gas arid Electric Company has indicated�its <br /> ; . <br /> willingness to deed to the City of Redwood City an easement for <br /> drainage purposes subject to the City of Redwood City quit- <br /> claiming all of those rights granted to the City by deed from <br /> Pacific Gas and Electric Company to the City o£ Redwood City <br /> on November 6, 1952; and <br /> WI�REAS, the City Assessor of the City of Redwood City <br /> has appraised the property interests involved and has determined <br /> that the property to be received by the City equals or exceeds <br /> the value o£ the property to be disposed of by the City in <br /> accordance with subsection (h) of Section 3-1/2 of the Charter <br /> of the City o£ Redwood City; <br /> N�NT, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF.THE CITY OF REDSn700D CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOYiTS: <br /> 1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to <br /> accept on behalf of the City of Redwood City the property described <br /> in the deed agreement re£erred to above, dated December 14, 1965, <br /> and the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute the said deed <br /> agreement. <br /> 2. The City Clerk is directed to record the deed received <br /> toqether with a copy of this resolution of acceptance. <br /> * * * <br />
