O�I <br /> RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR CONSTRUCTION OF VETERANS <br /> MEMORIAL BUILDING PARKING LOT, i7NZT NO. 2; REJECTING <br /> ALL OTHER BIDS.RECEIVED; AND.AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br /> OF AGREEMENT THEREFOR <br /> WI�REAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 4853, adopted December 6, <br /> 1965, the�City Clerk called for bids for the construction of <br /> parking lot unit No. 2, at Veterans Memorial Building, Redwood <br /> City; and <br /> WI�REAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received and filed <br /> with the City Manager; and <br /> Wf�'sREAS, DOUGLASS & WoODHOUSE, Redwood City, California, is <br /> the lowest responsible bidder, and it is the intention and desire <br /> of this Council to award said bid to Douglass & Woodhouse, and <br /> reject all other bids received; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS EOLLOWS: , <br /> 1. The bid of Douglass & Woodhouse, in the amount of Twelve <br /> Thousand Nine Hundred Thirty-five and 11/100 Dollars ($12,935.11), <br /> more or less,•for the.construction of parking lot unit No. 2, at <br /> Veterans Memorial Building, according to the plans and specifica- <br /> tions heretofore approved by Resolution No. 4853, at the price <br /> quoted in its proposal dated December 29, 1965, is hereby accepted <br /> and said bidder is hereby declared to be the lowest responsible <br /> b idde r . <br /> 2. Any and all bids received by the City of Redwood City <br /> for the construction of aforementioned work other than the bid <br /> mentioned in paragraph 1, hereof, are hereby��. rejected. <br /> 3.
