� • � WHK:yc;l/3/65-7 <br /> � y <br /> , � <br /> R E S O L U T I O N N O. 3b� <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS APID SPECIE'ICATIONS FOR VETERANS <br /> BOULEVARD � BREWSTER AVENUE SIGNALS.AND CHANNELIZATION, <br /> AND AUTHORIZING CALL FOR BIDS.THEREFOR <br /> WF�REAS, the City Engineer has submitted to this Council <br /> certain plans and specifications for the construction of Veterans <br /> Boulevard - Brewster Avenue signals and channelization in the <br /> City of Redwood City; and <br /> WI�REAS, this Council has reviewed the same and desires to <br /> signify its approval thereof and authorize the City Clerk to <br /> advertise for bids for the construction therebf; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. Those certain specifications entitled "General Specifica- <br /> tions and Special Provisions for the Construction of Veterans Blvd. <br /> - Brewster Ave. Signals & Channelization in the City of Redwood <br /> City, California," prepared by the City Engineer and on file in <br /> t he office of the City Engineer, are hereby approved. <br /> 2. Those certain plans entitled "City of Redwood City, <br /> California, Engi.neering Department, Veterans Blvd. - Brewster Ave. <br /> Signals & Channelization," prepared by the City Engineer and on <br /> file in, the office of the City Engineer are hereby approved. <br /> , <br /> 3. The City,Clerk, upon approval by the�State of California, <br /> Department of Public Works, of the above mentioned plans and <br /> specifications and of the'project statement allocating funds for <br /> said project, is hereby authorized and directed to advertise for <br /> bids for the construction of said improvements, in accordance <br /> with the plans and specifications therefor, said advertisement <br /> to be in the form of that certain "Notice to Contractors° set forth <br /> in the above mentioned specifications. <br /> * * * �� <br /> _ ° O <br /> `o <br /> � <br />
