R ESOLUTION NCB, 10-02 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CAN RECOMMENDING THE CERTIFICATION OF THE <br />FINAL ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT FOR THE NEW GENERAL <br />PLAN AND ADOPTION OF THE NEW GENERAL PLAN TO THE CITY <br />COUNCIL <br />WHEREAS, the Project is the adoption and implementation of <br />the New General <br />Plan, on file and made available at the . Office of the Cft Clerk and inco herein <br />by this reference. The New General Plan shall include the text and land us <br />reap dated <br />November o 9; Section 3.0 Revisions and Errata of the Draft Fll� and <br />' x the General <br />Plan Revision Matrix. <br />WHEREAS, the approval necessary for implementation of the Project is the <br />adoption of the New General Plan by a resolution adopted by � the C Council. <br />WHEREAS, the City prepared a ]raft Environmental Impact Re port <br />evaluate the potential environmental impacts of the adoption and - <br />� long-term <br />implementation of the proposed New General Plan. <br />WHEREAS, the DEIR was published for public review and comment nt for 45 days <br />beginning on May 11, 2010, and ending on dune 24, 201 The DEIR was filed With the <br />State ice of Planning & Re under State Cleadnhouse loo. 20102 <br />WHEREAS, on May 18, 2010 the Planning Commission held a st ses <br />and on June 15, 2010 the Planning Commission held a dui noticed publ <br />IP <br />ic he to <br />recerve public comment on the Draft E IR. <br />WHEREAS, the City prepared written responses to the comments is received <br />during the comment period and included these responses -in a Sep arate volu <br />�� � rn en titled <br />A New General Plan for Redwood good City, responses to Comments on the Draft EIR and <br />Mitigation Monitoring and Reporting Program August 20 10" which together <br />wi the <br />DE IR constitute the Final Environmental entail Impact Report F IR . <br />WHEREAS, on September 7, 2010, a duly noticed public hearing of the Planning <br />Commission was held to consider recommendations to the City ouncil r ega rding <br />� the <br />FEIP, the MM P, and the proposed New General Plan. <br />N OW THEREFORE, B IT RESOLVED B THE PLANNING COMMISSION of <br />THE CITY of RE DWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />I .
