r <br />JAH:dit 10/21/94 (024/38) <br />11/07/948 <br />12/01/94R <br />R SOLUTION • c 1 n <br />RESOLUTION OF PLANNING <br />REDWOOD CITY SELECTING THE REDWOOD CITY 101 CORRIDOR <br />REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT AREA AND APPROVING A PRELIMINARY <br />PLAN FORMULATED FOR THE REDEVELOPMENT OF THE PROJECT <br />♦ - 1 <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Redwood City, by <br />Resolution No. 12189, designated a Survey Area for redevelopment <br />study purposes; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council, by Resolution No. 12294 and by <br />Resolution No. 12302, amended the Survey Area ( "Amended Survey <br />Area " ); and <br />WHEREAS, the California Community Redevelopment Law (Health <br />& Safety Code Section 33000 et seq.) provides for the Planning <br />Commission to select a redevelopment project area from within the <br />boundary of a survey area, and to formulate a preliminary plan <br />for the redevelopment of the selected project area; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY, CALIFORNIA, DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1 - The Planning Commission hereby selects and <br />designates as the Project Area for the Redwood City 101 Corridor <br />Redevelopment Project the area within the Amended Survey Area <br />shown on the "Project Area Map," attached hereto as Exhibit A and <br />incorporated by reference herein, and as more particularly <br />described in the "Legal Description of Redwood City 101 Corridor <br />Redevelopment Project Area ", attached hereto as Exhibit 8 and <br />incorporated by reference herein. In the event that it is <br />necessary for clarification purposes to make minor, technical <br />changes to the boundary shown on Exhibit A and <br />
