P- 2160 <br /> � 00 G°'� <br /> RESOLUTION ADOPTING RESTATED GOVERNMENTAL 457 <br /> PLAN AND TRUST DOCUMENT AND SUPERSEDING AND <br /> REPLACING ANY PRIOR PLAN <br /> WHEREAS, the Port of Redwood City (hereinafter "Employer") has <br /> employees currently participating in a 457(b) deferred compensation retirement <br /> savings plan (the "Plan") administered by Nationwide Retirement Solutions, Inc., <br /> successor to National Deferred Compensation, Inc.; and <br /> WHEREAS, Employer wishes to adopt the Restated Governmental 457 <br /> Plan and Trust document (the "Plan DocumenY') which includes those statutory <br /> requirements for eligible deferred compensation plans; and <br /> WHEREAS, Employer directs Nationwide Retirement Solutions, Inc. to <br /> administer the deferred compensation plan for Employer in accordance with the <br /> terms of the Plan ; <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF PORT <br /> COMMISSIONERS OF THE PORT OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. Employer hereby adopts the Plan Document. <br /> 2. The assets of the Plan shall be held in an Investment Trust/Custodial <br /> Fund previously established by the Employer and managed by Nationwide <br /> Retirement Solutions, Inc. as Trustee/Custodian, appointed by the Employer for <br /> the exclusive benefit of the Plan participants and their beneficiaries, and the <br /> assets shall not be diverted for any other purpose. <br /> � s� <br /> J �O <br /> a0 <br />
