02/06/2012 <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 15166 <br /> RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> AUTHORIZING THE INSTALLATION OF STOP SIGNS ON WALNUT <br /> STREET AT THE INTERSECTION WITH STAMBAUGH STREET <br /> WHEREAS, Section 2B.05, of the Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices, <br /> states the use of Yield or Stop signs should be considered at intersections of two minor <br /> streets or local roads where the intersection has more than three approaches and the <br /> ability to see conflicting traffic on an approach is not su�cient to allow a road user to <br /> stop or yield in compliance with the normal right-of-way rule if such stopping or yielding <br /> is necessary; and <br /> WHEREAS, City staffs investigation has confirmed the existence of this <br /> condition at the subject site. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1.
