Ct3�1:dp;9/12/74 R <br /> R E S O L U T I O N N O. <br /> r� �d � � O'I�l�'�,A� <br /> SEP 16 '74 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br /> OF AGREEMENT - LIQUID CHLORINE REQUIREMENTS <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 2.76 of <br /> the Code of the City of Redwood City, this Council has suspended <br /> the requirements of Article VII of Chapter 2 of said Code relating <br /> to the purchase of materials, equipment, and supplies upon finding <br /> that strict compliance with said requirements would not serve the <br /> public interest in �onnection with the purchase of liquid chlorine <br /> for the period July l, 1974 - June 30, 1975; and <br /> WHEREAS, this Council has reviewed and desires to approve <br /> an agreement for furnishing the liquid chlorine requirements of <br /> the City of Redwood City for said period; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> enter into and execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City that <br /> certain agreement entitled "Agreement for Furnishing Liquid Chlorine <br /> Redwood City Sewage Treatment Plant" (form dated 9/12/74} for the <br /> furnishing of approximately 280 tons of liquid chlorine for the <br /> period ending ,Tune 30, 1.975, by Jones Chemical, Inc. , a copy of <br /> which agreement is presently on file in the office of the City <br /> Clerk, to which copy referenee is hereby made for full particulars <br /> concerning the terms and conditions thereof. <br /> * * * <br />
