02/10/2014 <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 15325 <br /> RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF SUPPLEMENTAL <br /> AGREEMENT VI TO JOINT EXERCISE OF POWERS AGREEMENT <br /> FOR THE SOUTH BAYSIDE SYSTEM AUTHORITY <br /> WHEREAS, the cities of Belmont, Redwood City, and San Carlos, California and <br /> the West Bay Sanitary District (formerly named the Menlo Park Sanitary District; which <br /> agencies are hereinafter collectively called the "Agencies") entered into that certain <br /> agreement dated November 13, 1975, entitled "Joint Exercise of Powers Agreement — <br /> South Bayside System Authority" (the "Agreement"), and five supplemental agreements <br /> thereto dated for convenience as of June 8, 1977, June 1, 1983, April 26, 1984, <br /> September 18, 1985, and March 13, 2008 respectively; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Agencies, other than Redwood City, have executed a <br /> Supplemental Agreement VI to the Agreement in the format as attached to this <br /> Resolution as Exhibit "A"; and <br /> WHEREAS, this Council desires to approve and authorize execution of the <br /> attached Supplemental Agreement VI for the reasons set forth in the January 27, 2014 <br /> Staff Report to Council. <br /> NOW THEREFORE; BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> That certain agreement entitled "Joint Exercise of Powers Agreement — South <br /> Bayside System Authority Supplemental Agreement VI," attached hereto as Exhibit "A" <br /> and incorporated herein by this reference, is hereby approved, and the Mayor and City <br /> Clerk are hereby authorized to execute said agreement and to attest to such execution, <br /> respectively, for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> * * * <br /> ATTY/RES0.2953/SBSA SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT VI RESO.#15325 <br /> REV:01-28-14 MLG MUFF#304 <br /> Page 1 of 1 <br />
