��Y.. .. __ . __ <br /> EXHIBIT "A" <br /> SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> TASKS <br /> TASK 1 : COORDINATION AND COLLABORATION WITH STAFF (D8�B, EPS, <br /> STAFF) <br /> This task combines the activities described in Tasks 1 (General) and 2 (Collaboration with <br /> Staff) of the RFP because both of these project components must necessarily be ongoing <br /> and are not limited to a single phase of the work. <br /> 1-A: Project Coordination. Consultant will meet with the City on a continuing basis <br /> throughout the duration of the work to ensure that the project continues to respond <br /> to City's needs, constraints, and expectations. They will conduct a combination of <br /> face-to-face meetings to kick-off the project and to review key work products with <br /> periodic phone conferences as necessary to ensure that input is received from all <br /> City staff and City officials who need to be involved. <br /> 1-B: Kickoff Meeting. At the onset of the work, Consultant will meet with Staff to review <br /> and refine this Scope of Services and make necessary adjustments to the schedule <br /> to ensure that the City and interested residents and stakeholders will remain fully <br /> informed regarding progress and decisions made at key milestones. Specific topics <br /> to be covered at this first meeting will include: <br /> • Review of Scope of Services, proposed products, and meetings; <br /> • Key issues, priorities and potential peer communities programs that may <br /> prove relevant and provide helpful background information; <br /> • Role of Planning Commission, City Council, and any City-appointed advisory <br /> committees that may be involved in process; <br /> • Outreach including responsibilities for producing materials for the City's <br /> website or community communication; <br /> . Identification and introduction of key City staff who will be involved in the <br /> project and discussion of their roles and responsibilities; and <br /> . Revision of proposed schedule and formulation of a Master Schedule to <br /> reflect the kick-off discussion. <br /> 1-C: List of Data Needs. At the outset of the project, Consultant will provide City staff <br /> with a list of data needs. These include the City's budget, Capital Improvement <br /> Program, and current fee schedules, relevant development projects, market and/or <br /> economic data and studies, and land use data. <br /> 1-D: General Plan Policy Matrix. The matrix will list General Plan goals, objectives <br /> policies that relate to the formulation of a public-private defined benefits program by <br /> expressing relevant community preferences and priorities. These would include <br /> policies regarding the types and location of desired benefits, mitigation of <br /> development impacts, and approaches to be incorporated in review procedures. <br /> ATTY/AGR/2014.091/DYETT&BHATIA <br /> REV:06-05-14 VR Page 10 of 17 <br />
