We will try to schedule their playtime between 4:00 and 5:00 after their
afternoon snack.
PHYSICAL EDUCATION
We have attached a draft of the proposed P.E. schedule. The schedule reflects the approximately 90
minutes that will be allotted to P.E., but the times may have to be adjusted slightly from year to year.
We have tried very hard to find creative methods to schedule outdoor playtime and P.E. simultaneously and
therefore request that permission be granted to use a small section of the parking area adjacent to the lawn
area at the front of the school.
The entire !awned area where the current classrooms are located on the (east side) will be completely
fenced off. We would like to continue the fence to extend along the paved area and around the corner and
approximately one -third of the length of the north side (Euclid Avenue). We would like to use this small area
for P.E. /sporting activities, perhaps to include a portable basketball hoop. This area will be coned off during
P.E. activities. This would greatly help with scheduling, as it would allow for P.E. and recess to be conducted
simultaneously, thus minimizing the number of minutes that children would spend on outdoor activities.
Children will be strictly supervised at all times. Based on the proposed schedule below, activities will cease
\.106R/6 2323 EUCLID AVENUE
UI k .r, REDWOOD Cu, Y CA 94061 CONFIDENTIAL Page 7 of 12
7 7 ^ TEL: (650) 814 -8954
