We remain <br /> convinced that there is an opportunity to find a solution here that can work for <br /> everyone involved. We would like to find a compromise that works for our school <br /> allowing it to be financially viable and that also works for the local community in <br /> terms of their traffic and noise concerns because we believe our school would <br /> greatly benefit your residents and the broader educational needs of our society. <br /> It became apparent to us during the planning commission's public hearing that the <br /> majority of concerns around traffic were associated with the existing conditions <br /> generated by Roosevelt School's student arrivals. In order to address these concerns <br /> we are willing to defer our proposed school's student arrivals time to 8:10 AM, <br /> therefore starting ten minutes after the completion of Roosevelt School's student <br /> arrivals at 8:00 AM. We believe this would address these traffic concerns as the <br /> resulting traffic generated by our school would be only a quarter of the traffic that <br /> Roosevelt School generates and parent vehicles would be accommodated and <br /> managed on -site within our proposed school campus eliminating any queuing onto <br /> the adjacent streets. <br /> In the spirit of looking for opportunities to reach an acceptable compromise, we are <br /> also willing to further reduce our student enrollment number to 150 students <br /> representing a total reduction of 50 students from our original project submission <br /> of 200 students. <br /> We are very committed to finding a viable solution for our school project and are <br /> dedicated to providing a top -tier educational facility that would greatly benefit <br /> Redwood City's growing community and its rapidly increasing population.
