7.1.C. - Page 4 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. <br /> RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> CITY AMENDING THE CITY'S CLASSIFICATION AND SALARY <br /> PLAN TO ESTABLISH THE CLASSIFICATIONS OF FIRE PLAN <br /> CHECKER, HUMAN RESOURCES ANALYST I /II, PRINCIPAL <br /> ANALYST — WORKERS' COMPENSATION, PRINCIPAL PLANNER, <br /> AND PUBLIC WORKS FIELD SUPERVISOR <br /> WHEREAS, the City Manager has requested that new classifications be <br /> established to meet the current and future operational needs for the City; and <br /> WHEREAS, the classification specifications were prepared by Human Resources <br /> staff in consultation with department management, to ensure the foreseeable needs of <br /> the organization were met; and <br /> WHEREAS, Human Resources conducted salary studies and met and conferred <br /> with labor representatives, as appropriate, and reached agreement on the recommended <br /> salary ranges as listed in Exhibit "A." <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. The recitals set forth above are true and correct and are hereby <br /> incorporated by this reference as if fully set forth in their entirety. <br /> 2.
