As part of this recruitment, <br /> applicants were requested to submit a cover letter and email addresses for all <br /> references provided. <br /> For this one seat, fifteen applications were received and reviewed for compliance with <br /> pre-established requirements. Thirteen applicants met the prerequisites. Of the <br /> thirteen applications submitted, ten submitted the required cover letter with the <br /> application. Between July 30, 2014 and August 7, 2014 the City Council reviewed all <br /> the applications and selected applicants for interviewing. Those applicants who <br /> received four votes (ten applicants) were invited to be interviewed and the interview <br /> session took place on August 18, 2014.
