spoil along traveled ways daily; grade and vacuum broom surfaces initially where <br /> applicable and later water flush with high-pressure sprays, being careful to avoid <br /> downstream contamination. <br /> D. All dust, mud, spoils, and construction debris shall be removed daily from all roadways, <br /> ditches, shoulders, and private properly (fills or spoils placed on private property at <br /> private property owner's written request excepted). <br /> E. Disposal of Materials: <br /> 1. As part of the scope of Work included within the Contract Sum, Contractor shall be <br /> fully responsible for disposing of all construction debris, dirt and spoils resufting from <br /> the Work. <br /> 2. All waste materials, debris, dirt and rubbish shall be disposed of at sites to be chosen <br /> by Contractor in accordance with applicable local, state, and federal regulations. <br /> 3. Contractor is cautioned that the City has regulations governing the disposal of <br /> rubble, broken pavement, and similar materials. <br /> 4. Contractor shall become familiarized with the requirements of the agency having <br /> jurisdiction over any contemplated disposal site and shall comply with all such <br /> requirements. <br /> F. If Contractor does not properly clean the Site, in the opinion of City, then City shall have <br /> the option of using outside equipment to perForm the cleanup and such cost will be <br /> withheld from the Contract Sum. <br /> 1.22 FINAL CLEANING <br /> A. Contractor shall execute final deaning prior to final inspection, using only properly skilled <br /> workers. <br /> B. Remove grease, dust, dirt, stains, labels, fingerprints, and other foreign materials from <br /> exposed interior and exterior finished surfaces. <br /> C. Repair, patch, and touch up marred surfaces to match adjacent finishes. <br /> D. Clean interior and exterior surfaces exposed to view; remove temporary labels, stains <br /> and foreign substances, polish transparent and glossy surfaces, vacuum carpeted and <br /> soft surfaces. <br /> E. Clean equipment and fixtures to a sanitary condition, clean or replace filters of <br /> mechanical equipment operated during construction, clean ducts, blowers and coils of <br /> units operated without filters during construetion. <br /> F. Clean Site; mechanically sweep paved areas. <br /> G.
