Considering <br /> the extents of the region that experiences overflights of aircraft heading to/from San Carlos <br /> Airport,the recommended overflight notification zone encompasses the entirety of the existing <br /> airport influence area(AIA) for San Carlos Airport(see Exhibito3-6). <br /> Overflightl.CompatibilitrCriterimandIPoliciesfor Sam earlosAirporty <br /> The following are draft overflight compatibility criteria and policies that may be included in the <br /> ALUCP for San Carlos Airport. <br /> Overflight Policy 1— Real Estate Transfer Disclosure <br /> Effective as of January 1,2004, California state statutes(Business and Professional Code Section <br /> 11010 and Civil Code Sections 1102.6, 1103.4, and 1353)mandate that sellers or leasers of real <br /> property must disclose information regarding whether their property is situated within an airport <br /> influence area. <br /> a f These state requirements apply to the sale or lease of subdivided lands and condominium <br /> conversions and to the sale of certain existing residential property. <br /> bf Where disclosure is required,the state statutes dictate that the following statement shall be <br /> provided: <br /> NOTICE OF AIRPORT IN VICINITY <br /> This property is presently located in the vicinity of an airport,within what is known as an <br /> airport influence area.For that reason,the property may be subject to some of the annoyances <br /> or inconveniences associated with proximity to airport operations (for example: noise, <br /> vibration, or odors). Individual sensitivities to those annoyances can vary from person to <br /> person.
