EXHIBIT "A" <br /> SCOPE OF SERVICES AND TIME SCHEDULE <br /> A PROJECT DESCRIPTION <br /> The City of Redwood City seeks to rehabilitate the three sanitary sewer pump <br /> stations located at Seaport Boulevard and Redwood Shores Area namely: Marina <br /> P.S., P.S. No. 17 and P.S. No. 19 in order to improve the reliability of the <br /> wastewater services. This project involves the engineering and construction <br /> services by qualified engineering cansulting firm. The Consultant will prepare the <br /> plans and specifications, cost estimates, contract documents for bidding, provide <br /> bid support and construction services and prepare the final as-built drawings for <br /> the Sanitary Sewer Pump Station Rehabilitation Project (Marina P.S, P.S. No. 17 <br /> and P.S. Na 19). <br /> The project includes the following work activities for each of the following sanitary <br /> sewer pump station. <br /> B. Marina Pump Station (located adjacent to the parking lot of the Seaqort Village <br /> North Shoqqinq Center on Seaport Blvd. near Port of Redwood Citv) <br /> 1. Remove failing T-Lok PVC lining inside the wet well and replace with new <br /> wet well coating. <br /> 2. Remove existing pump shoes and replace with new connection pump shoes. <br /> 3. Remove existing Programmable Logic Controller(PLC) and replace it with a <br /> new PLC. <br /> Pump Station #17 (located on Avocet Court north of Redwood Shores Parkway� <br /> 1. Provide new wet well coating since the existing interior concrete walls of the <br /> wet well are showing signs of corrosion. <br /> 2. Remove existing submersible pumps and replace them with new 20-hp <br /> submersible pumps. <br /> 3. Provide new variable frequency drive (VFD) and motor control center (MCC) <br /> panel. <br /> 4. Replace existing piping and hardware inside the wet well. <br /> 5. Remove existing pump shoes and replace with new connection pump shoes. <br /> 6. Remove existing Programmable Lagic Controller(PLC) and replace with a new <br /> one. <br /> 7. Remove existing asphalt paving and replace with new asphalt concrete (AC) <br /> pavement. <br /> Pump Station #19 (located on Shearwater Parkway west Of Redwood Shores <br /> Parkwa <br /> 1. Provide new wet well coating since the existing interior concrete walls of the <br /> wet well are showing signs of corrosion. <br /> 2.
