<br /> <br /> CGM:sw. 1/19/78 <br /> ORIGl�`�lAL <br /> R E S O L U T I O N N O. 7 9 8 3 JAN 23, 1978 <br /> RESOLUTION GRANTING EXCEPTIONS TO CERTAIN PROVISIONS <br /> OF CHAPTER 30 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> CITY - JAMES F. KNECHT <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 30. 6 of the Code of the City <br /> of Redwood City the Planninc,J Commission has recommended approval <br /> of the application of the subdivider of the real property herein <br /> described for exceptions to the provisions of Chapter 30 of the <br /> Code of the City of Redwood City with respect to the proposed <br /> subdivision as follows: <br /> To allow lots l, 2 , 9, and 10 to have less than <br /> 50 feet of street frontage; <br /> To allow a cul-de-sac to extend more than 250 feet; <br /> WHEREAS, the property for which application for exception is <br /> made is that certain real property situate in the City of Redwood <br /> City, County of San Mateo, State of California, described as <br /> follows : <br /> 1720 Valota Road; being the northeasterly 375 feet <br /> of Lot 18, being 2. 74 acres, Valota Park Subdivision; <br /> Assessor' s Parcel No. 059-222-230; "R-1 and R-2" <br /> (Residential-Single Family and Residential-Duplex) <br /> Districts <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has �ound and reported to <br /> this Council that exceptional circumstances and conditions exist <br /> which affect said property; that the exceptions applied for are <br /> necessary for preservation and enjoyment of substantial property <br /> rights of petitioner; that the granting of said exceptions will <br /> not be detrimental to the public welfare or be injurious to other <br /> property in the neighborhood in which the property is situated; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1.
