  <br /> <br /> www.silveradocontractors.com <br />San Francisco - Oakland Bay Bridge, Yerba Buena Island <br />Silverado performed all demolition during <br />bridge closures over Labor Day weekends in <br />2007 and then again in 2009. In 2007 work <br />consisted of removing a 348' long x 75' <br />wide, 3,500 cubic yard concrete section in <br />only 49 hours. Then in 2009, a 300' long <br />section was cut free and jacked and rolled <br />out of place to make way for the new <br />connector for the famous S Turn. <br />All of the work was completed on time, with no <br />delays to traffic and without any injuries. The <br />demolition work made way for the New Bay <br />Bridge to be connected to Yerba Buena Island. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />7.1.D. - Page 59
