<br /> <br />Exhibit A – Scope of Work <br /> <br />1. Scope of Work/ Tasks Deadline – 60 days after NTP <br /> <br />PROJECT WORK: <br />All required work must be completed within sixty (60) days from the date of Notice to Proceed is <br />issued. Any work that is not finished or completed by the end of the aforementioned time frame will <br />result in payment of liquidated damages, as outlined in Attachment B (Liquidated Damages), by the <br />Contractor to the City. <br /> <br />Unless otherwise specified, all work includes materials, equipment and labor. <br /> <br />PHASE 1, 2 AND 3 ARE TO BE COMPLETED AS A TURNKEY PROJECT BY CONTRACTOR. <br /> <br />This will be a turnkey project with Contractor responsible for all permits, licenses, insurance, fees <br />and costs. <br /> <br />Within ten (10) days of Notice of Award, and prior to execution of the Contract by the City, Contractor <br />must submit for review and approval, insurance certificates, a Safety Plan and a Project Execution <br />Plan. The Safety Plan, Project Execution Plan and Insurance Certificates must all be approved by the <br />City before actual work commences. <br /> <br />A rehearsal of concept with all parties will be required on land before the commencement of actual <br />work (Phase 1, 2, 3). The rehearsal of concept is a walk through and will not require equipment. <br /> <br />PHASE 1: MOVEMENT OF KLEIDER BARGE. During the removal of the Pan Am Barge, <br />Contractor shall temporarily relocate the Kleider Barge located in Berths 28/30 and move it back into <br />Berths 30/32 once the Pan Am Barge is removed. This process must be accomplished in one day. <br /> <br />Relocation of the Kleider Barge includes but is not limited to the following: <br /> <br />1. Using appropriate safe practices, power boats of adequate quantity, size and power, move <br />Kleider Barge into an area just outside the dock and out of the path of the Pan Am Barge. <br />2. Hold at location while Pan Am Barge is removed from the marina. <br />3. Relocate Kleider Barge into Berths 30/32 and secure. <br /> <br />PHASE 2: MOVEMENT OF PAN AM BARGE. The Pan Am Barge located in Berth 32 must be <br />permanently removed from the marina and delivered to a suitable location for demolition. <br /> <br />Movement of the Pan Am Barge includes but is not limited to the following: <br /> <br />1. Using appropriate safe practices, power boats of adequate quantity, size and power, move Pan <br />Am Barge to an area suitable for its demolition. <br />2. This is a turn key project therefore the contractor is responsible for conducting a thorough site <br />survey and inspection of the site, obtain all insurances and permits, meet all regulatory <br />requirements and execute in a safe manner. <br /> <br />PHASE 3: DEMOLITION AND DISPOSAL OF PAN AM BARGE. Contractor shall remove the <br />Pan Am Barge to an acceptable location suitable for its demolition and disposal, selected and provided <br />by Contractor. <br /> Pam Am Barge Removal Agreement <br />Page 7 of 8 <br /> <br />7.1.D. - Page 10
