<br />RFP Pan Am Barge Removal – due 20 June 2014 Page 11 of 22 <br />Attachment A – Scope of Work <br /> <br /> <br />The following work will be performed by the City of Redwood City and is not a part of the <br />Project and is not included in the awarded Contract: <br /> <br />SITE PREPARATION and STABILIZATION OF THE NORTH DOCK. The City will repair the docks, <br />finger piers and utilities located in the vicinity of the Pan Am Barge sufficiently to stabilize the <br />North Dock. <br /> <br />UTILITIES: <br />Numerous charged and uncharged water, power and data cables traverse around the Pan Am <br />Barge and serve many of the marina users on North Dock. City will identify live utilities and re- <br />route those being utilized. Unused and obsolete utilities will be removed. <br /> <br />Utilities serving the Kleider Barge will be disconnected, modified and at end of Project <br />reconnected to the Kleider Barge at its new location. <br />------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ <br />ENVIRONMENTAL SURVEY: <br />The environmental survey has been completed and is available for review at the Community <br />Development Department of the City. <br />----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- <br />PROJECT WORK: <br />All required work must be completed within thirty (30) days from the date the contract time <br />commences to run. Any work that is not finished or completed by the end of the <br />aforementioned time frame will result in payment of liquidated damages, as outlined in <br />Attachment B (Liquidated Damages), by the Contractor to the City. <br /> <br />Unless otherwise specified, all work includes materials, equipment and labor. City reserves the <br />right to enter into an agreement with the Proposer for all or part of the work outlined below. <br />Total agreement amount will be the sum of the cost of all portions of work accepted by the <br />City. <br /> <br />Work to be performed by successful Proposer: <br /> <br />PHASE 1, 2 AND 3 ARE TO BE COMPLETED AS A TURNKEY PROJECT BY ONE CONTRACTOR WITH <br />ANY REQUIRED SUBCONTRACTORS. <br /> <br />This will be a turn-key project with the successful Contractor responsible for all permits, <br />licenses, insurance, fees and costs. <br /> <br />Within ten (10) days of Notice of Award, and prior to execution of the Contract by the City, <br />Contractor must submit for review and approval, insurance certificates, a Safety Plan and a <br />7.1.D. - Page 22
