An expert in <br />estimating and project managing for large complicated projects including power plant <br />decommissioning. During Mr. Gusman’s tenure at ICONCO/LVI his estimating skills <br />became an invaluable asset to the team. Currently at Silverado Contractors, Inc., he <br />has successfully estimated and project managed numerous projects ranging in value of <br />$80,000 to $10,000,000. Always striving to meet deadlines, stay within budget while <br />focusing on safety, and client satisfaction. <br /> <br />As Project Manager, Mr. Gusman’s responsibilities included creating work plans and <br />schedules for the client. Maintain all paperwork associated with a projects including: <br />reviewing dailies, monthly job summary reports, project payment applications, change <br />orders and accounts receivable status on all projects. <br />As an estimator, Mr. Gusman’s responsibilities include detailed analysis and take off of <br />documents. As well as, the compiling and pricing of estimates. This attention to detail <br />has accumulated in successfully bidding over $10,000,000 worth of work in the Bay <br />Area. <br /> <br /> <br />PROJECT EXPERIENCE <br />South Bay Power Plant, Chula Vista, CA: Estimator and Project Manager <br />Implosion of the 750 mega-watt, 4-unit natural gas fired steam turbine electrical <br />generation facility. During preparation for the implosion, work included hazardous <br />materials abatement, an administration building demolition, electrical shop and catwalks <br />removal as well as all of the ground level equipment removal. Due to plants location on <br />the Coast and active switching station, numerous agencies were in volved, including the <br />California Coastal Commission.
