The demolition plan <br />included the use of a 300 ton crane for rigging and hoisting pre-engineered sections of <br />the silo for dismantling purposes. The silo weighed approximately 300 tons and was <br />completed in one month. <br />Client: Owens Corning <br /> <br />Courthouse West, Reno, NV (2003): Project Manager <br />The Demolition of a 6-story building leaving basement walls and slab in place and <br />backfilled around perimeter of basement with fill from the site. <br />Client: Washoe County Department of Public Works <br /> <br />Abandoned Old Post Office Building, San Francisco, CA (2000): Project Manager <br />The selective demolition of a 4-story reinforced concrete structure with basement for <br />installation of a base isolator seismic system. It was a reinforced a concrete structure <br />with concrete roof, floors, columns and walls. Excavation and removal of over 5,000 <br />tons of contaminated soils as well. <br />Client: Hathaway Dinwiddie Construction Company <br /> <br />Wahlquist Library, San Jose, CA (2000): Project Manager <br />Removal and demolition of three (3) concrete buildings ranging from three to six stories <br />approximately 90 feet in height at the Wahlquist Library on the campus of San Jose <br />State University. The overall building area amounted to 300,000 square feet. The <br />project included asbestos abatement, removal of loose and peeling lead based paints, <br />and other hazardous material removals. As part of the reconstruction phase our contract <br />scope included relocating and installing new electrical services, new irrigation, and <br />constructing a new end wall to a building that was part of the other buildings being <br />7.1.D. - Page 39
