Page 2 <br /> <br />South Bay Power Plant, Chula Vista, CA: General Superintendent <br />General Superintendent for implosion of the 750 mega-watt, 4-unit natural gas fired <br />steam turbine electrical generation facility. During preparation for the implosion, work <br />included hazardous materials abatement, an administration building demolition, electrical <br />shop and catwalks removal as well as all of the ground level equipment removal. Due to <br />plants location on the Coast and active switching station, numerous agencies were <br />involved, including the California Coastal Commission. Once the plant was imploded, <br />approximately 20,000 tons of steel was recycled once the plant was brought down. <br />Contract Value: $6,000,000 / Client: Dynegy <br /> <br />Boeing Plant II Shoreline and Habitat Restoration, King County, Washington: <br />Assisted with design, request for proposals, contractors selection for dredging, shoreline <br />restoration, and disposal contract. <br />Contract value: $ 35,000,000 / Client: The Boeing Company <br /> <br />Boeing Plant II Site Development, King County, Washington: <br />Project entailed development of the 35 acre site post-demolition, including removal of <br />over 50,000 cy of impacted and contaminated soils and installation of a site-wide storm <br />water management system in an extremely stringent regulatory environment. <br />Contract value: $12,000,000 / Client: The Boeing Company <br /> <br />Boeing Plant II Demolition, King County, Washington: <br />Project entailed industrial demolition of over 1.7 million square feet of the former Boeing <br />Airplane Manufacturing Plant. Originally built in 1936, this plant produced Boeing’s B-17 <br />Flying Fortresses as well as many other aircraft. At 1.7 million square feet it required <br />extensive oversight to manage all asbestos abatement, PCB and soil remediation, <br />groundwater, and storm water issues on delicate Lower Duwamish Waterway, an EPA <br />designated Superfund site. <br />Contract value: $10,000,000 / Client: The Boeing Company <br /> <br />7.1.D. - Page 42
