Director Patterson <br /> described the existing development agreement in effect for the last ten years, which <br /> granted certain entitlements to the developer, Peery & Arrillaga. Director Patterson <br />- described the major differences between the initial plan and the current plan: the <br /> reduction from 1.25 million square feet to 980,000 square feet, a 23% reduction in <br /> overall size of the project; the heights of the buildings were reduced; language relating <br /> to which utilities would be public, which would be private was included; no new fees <br /> had been added since 1985 so there would be no net effect on the City; and facilities <br /> fees have already been paid.
