PUBLIC HEARING - WESTPORT DEVELOPMENT (109, 603) <br />The Council will hold three public hearings simultaneously: <br />I) Appeal of the Planning Commission's certification ofa Supplemental ErR (Health Risk <br /> Assessment and Technical Addendum) for a 980,000 sq. ft. office and <br /> research/development complex - appellants, Laverne AtherIy, President of Redwood <br /> Shores Homeowners Association and Carol Ford, Chairperson, Committee on Westport; <br /> Appeal Letter cited "the Health Risk Assessment is based upon inadequate testing at the <br /> Westport site." <br /> Property Location: 601-701 Marine Parkway; being 85.285 acres, Parcels A and B, PM <br /> 54/72-73; APN 095-012-150, 220, 270, 280; "CP" (Commercial Park) Zoning District. <br />2) Approval of a Specific Plan for a commercial project known as Westport; <br />3) Approval and authorization of execution of an Amended Development Agreement with <br /> Westport Investments; <br />Affidavits of mailing and publishing are on file in the City Clerk Department <br />City Attorney Schricker referred to the three items before the Council at this time, and <br />advised that items 2) and 3) were brought to the Council pursuant to the Government Code <br />and procedures specified by the state Planning Act which required public hearings.
