2. CITY may terminate this agreement as follow: a. In the event that SHD does not provide funding as identified herein; b. CITY may decline such funding for any reason; c. CITY determines that it is unable to hire qualified personnel within the funding amounts secured through this Agreement; d. CITY and RCSD are unable to come to agreement regarding the terms of the program that the City intends to provide with SHD funds. 3. In the event that any of the program partners descnbed herein (SHD, CITY,or RCSD)discontinue participation in the program described herein,the obligations of SHD and CITY to perform under this Agreement automatically terminate. 4. If this Agreement is terminated during any grant cycle, CITY shall retum any unspent grant funds to SHD. IV.Goals and Mutual Objectives Understanding these limitations,for Year 3 of the SHD granting funding,these are the goals and objectives: Goal 1:Program Delivery.�City will conduct programming at the 4 schools listed below during the 2014-15 academic year. If opportunity presents itself to expand to other schools this grants cycle, an amendment to this agreement will be made. The Program is based on the following parameters: • 180 school days in the year • 150 days of PE+"full program" implementation that includes PE cumculum instruction two days per week for each class grades K-5 by up to four total coaches(two coaches per class)and recessllunch support five days per week with a minimum of 2 coaches.The"full program"cumculum instruction ends 5/22/2015. o Length of day:5.6 hours/day for Head Coach and 5.2 hours/day for Regular Coach. • 28 days of"recess/lunch support only"provided the first two weeks of schools,two weeks during the school year, and 1-2 weeks following the end of the"full program" implementation. "Recess/lunch support only" ends 5/29/2015-6/5/2015. o Length of day: K-8 schools=4.5 hours/day; K-5 schools=4 hours/day School #K-5 Students Hawes 432 Selby Lane 456 Henry Ford 450 Garfield 458 Goal 2:Staff Recruitment:City will retain a PE Coordinator to manage City's part of the PE+program. City will recruit for its program a team of PE coaches,and conduct all hiring processes of staff including background and safety checks,as further described herein.
