MOTION : Commissioner Knecht moved to accept the Budget , <br /> Capital Improvement and Legislative Committee <br /> Report , seconded by Commissioner Schlesinger . <br /> The motion carried unanimously by voice vote , <br /> Report Item 4 . Redwood Shores <br /> This report was discussed in Agenda Item 2 and was carried over to <br /> the April meeting . <br /> Report Item 5 . Monthly Reports <br /> Mr . Weeks updated the Commission on the status of the picnic tables at <br /> Mezes Park . He indicated that the contractor has agreed to completely <br /> reconstruct the units . The delivery of new parts will take five weeks . <br /> Completion of the restroom is anticipated shortly . Mr . Weeks commented <br /> on the continuing difficulty that is being experienced with the con - <br /> tractor relative to finishing the project . <br /> MOTION : Commissioner Buckhout moved to accept the Depart- <br /> mental Monthly Reports seconded by Commissioner <br /> Hayes . The motion carried unanimously by voice <br /> vote . <br /> ROUND TABLE <br /> Chairperson Pound indicated that a neighbor had discussed with her a <br /> newspaper clipping about a school in the east that had painted a world <br /> map across the playground . The school found that the map helped the <br /> students with their studies in geography . She felt that it would be <br /> a good idea to try something like this at one of our schools , <br /> MOTION : There being no further business , Commissioner <br /> Hayes moved , seconded by Commissioner Buckhout <br /> that the meeting be adjourned . The motion <br /> carried unanimously by voice vote and the meet- <br /> ing was adjourned at 10 : 12 p . m . <br /> -4 - <br />
