RECREATION DIVISION MONTHLY REPORT <br /> MAY 1977 <br /> MUNICIPAL SPORTS <br /> Youth Softball <br /> Teams have been formed in the following youth leagues : <br /> Peppermint Patty - 10 teams of girls 8- 12 years of age <br /> Girls Teen - 5 teams of girls 13- 16 years of age <br /> Boys Youth Softball - 4 teams of boys ages 8- 12 years <br /> Approximately 285 boys and girls are registered and participating on <br /> teams . League games will start in June . <br /> Adult Softball <br /> The first half of league play is coming to an end . The second half will <br /> start approximately June 20th . <br /> Swim Pools <br /> Hoover Pool was open to the public over the Memorial Day weekend . The <br /> pool will be open every weekend until school is out . <br /> Community Pool remains closed with repair work being done and hoped to <br /> be completed soon . <br /> - 14- <br />
