IIII��� I I "- <br /> 4 ,_ , � <br /> TASK 8(OPTlONAL SERVICE)—LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURE MEETING#1+COORDINATION <br /> Upon written approval from the City Engineer,Consultant will engage Landscape Architect to perForm early design <br /> tasks. <br /> 8.a Attend City Staff Meeting#1. <br /> 8.b Coordinate with civil engineer on design issues and landscape design options. <br /> TASK 9(OPTIONAL SERV►CE)—LANDSCAPE ARCH/TECT ENLARGEMENT SKETCHES <br /> 9.a As part of the aRernatives design phase Landscape Architect will assist by providing enlargement <br /> sketches of key areas where private property encroachments reach into the streetscape area. <br /> The enlargement sketches are intended to assist with City staff and design team decision making for alternatives <br /> and the impact of the private property existing facilities. <br /> Task 9 Deliverables:Three Enlargement Sketches for two alternatives—two hard copy sets and PDF <br /> TASK 10(OPTIONAL SERVICE)—FLYNN TO MACARTHUR STREET5CAPE LAYOUT <br /> The segment of Middlefield Road that is the frontage of Costco is completed.The segment south of Costco will be <br /> part of the Streetscape study and is intended to blend with the County's streetscape project to the south which is <br /> currently in design by the County. <br /> 10.a Consultant will contact the County to obtain County streeucape design. <br /> 10.b Consultant will prepare a preliminary geometric layout of the sidewalks, curb, bulbouts and <br /> striping for this segment of Middlefield. The cross section will be initially based on the county's <br /> streetscape cross-section, with adjustments to lane widths and sidewalk widths after the first meeting <br /> with the City. <br /> Task 10 Deliverables:Geometric Layout Plans—two hard copies,PDF,and AutoCAD files <br /> TASK li(OPTfONAL SERVICE)—ADDITIONAL MIDDLEFIELD ROAD RlGHT OF WAY RESEARCH <br /> After completion of Task 1, it is expected there will be consistent findings on the right or way widening status on <br /> Middlefield Road.
