At the southbound approach to Chestnut Street the dedicated right turn lane will be changed to a right turn pocket(60' long maximum). 2.b Standard streetlight spacing and street trees will be included on the plan after one of the alternatives is selected. 2.c The draft streetscape alternatives will be plotted separately at 1"=20' on a single roll plot,with the existing conditions (aerial topo) screen background and colored linework for the curbs, sidewalks, bulbouts and striping.Each of the alternatives will have two typical sections,which will be later developed into graphics rendering. Task 2 Deliverables:Two alternative streetscape design layouts-two hard copies,PDF,and AutoCAD TASK3—MfETING W1TH CITYSTAFf#1 3.a Consultant will meet with city staff to present the two alternatives and discuss the design factors: the balance of modes of travel, impacts on private property,sequencing of the streetscape and planned joint trench. 3.b It is expected the City will request both aRernatives to be carried forward and re�ned with cost estimate,after revisions from Meeting#1.The impacts on existing facilities are based on site photos and aerial topography. Task 4 Deliverables: • Two refined alternative streetscape design layouts-two hard copies,PDF,and AutoCAD files • Construction cost estimates TASK 5—MEETING WITH CITY STAFF#2 Consultant will allow for follow-up meeting with City staff, with Landscape Architecture subconsultant atso in attendance, to discuss minor revisions and graphical renderings. City will select one of the alternatives for the Landscape Architecture subconsultant rendering. Task 5 Deliverables:Meeting agenda,materials,and minutes TASK 6—FURTHER REFINE(ONE)STREESG4PE LAYOUT ALTERNATI VE&COST ESTIMATE Consultant will make minor revisions to one of the Alternative Layouts in preparation for the graphical rendering.This task assumes minor changes with less than one day for CAD revisions and cost updates prior to preparing renderings.
