The Annual Wheelers (physically handicapped bowlers) Awards Banquet <br /> was held on March 11 , with lOQ attending. Frank Russp serve� as <br /> chef and the Fun After Fifty Orchestra furnished the music. On March <br /> 17, the Fun After Fifty Club held a St. Patrick's Day dinner for 150. <br /> RCCT presented "Little Mary Sunshine" on. March 17, 18, 24, and 25. <br /> GUIDE Rroc�ram <br /> � The GUID� Career Development Program for Latino studer}ts at Sequo�a <br /> was he1d four meetings in MarCh, They included a session on job appli- <br /> cations don� by Mr. Hanaga at Sequoia; Interview Techniques coordinated <br /> by the Park and Recreation Department; a sess�on done by the Redwood <br /> City School District on the rapid learning centers and aide positions <br /> available ir� that program; and final7y � tour.of the vocational training <br /> programs at Co11e�e of San Mateo. The final sess�on will be on April 6, <br /> at the Fair Oaks Community Center when the stud�nts who have completed <br /> the course w�ll receive certificates. Parents are invited and the FEAST <br /> program from Sequoia will furr�ish refreshments. <br /> Noover Program <br /> The Hoover School Program is progressing we11 . Supervision was provided <br /> throughout Easter vacatipn and many scheduled activities were held as <br /> well as drop-in recreation. The attendance was excell�nt and the leaders <br /> were pleased with the response to the special Tiny Tot program affered. <br /> Red Morton Recreation Center " <br /> A Junior High School dance with Steve Rood from KFRC was held on March <br /> 10 from 7:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The dance was_ SOId out a week in advance. <br /> A dance contest was held and door prizes we,re given away.
