This is ,being repaired and the sys- <br /> tems are being tested so as to be ready for use. <br /> A training session held at the Mur�icipal Service Center dealing with <br /> laws, regulations, chemicals, and safety factors pertaining to the <br /> application of restricted pesticides in California was attended by <br /> , Park Leader James Littlefield and Tree Trimmer Sam Noonan. This <br /> training was presented as preparation �For licensing as a Commercial <br /> Pest Control Applicator by the S�Cate of Cal�fornia. These licenses <br /> are requirements for all who arg involved with pesticide application <br /> work. <br /> The rainstorms during the month hampered the somewhat regular work of <br /> the Street Tree section by adding emergency work which was generated <br /> , by the storms. In addition to the emergency work load, the crews have <br /> been attempting to keep abreast of the regular pruning requests and <br /> also continue with the area pruning assignmen�Cs. In preparation for <br /> th� Easter Day Camp activities �t Stulsaft Park, the trimming crews <br /> removed hazardous limbs and corrected potentially hazardous tree con- <br /> ditions in the park. <br /> r <br /> ..9� <br />
