Weeks, Director of Park$ & Recreation <br /> Bill Paulson, Recreation Superintendent <br /> CITIZENS PRESENT: Sandy Galambos, Carlmont High <br /> Qarlene Willitt, San Jose State University <br /> MOTION: Commissioner Weintraub moved, seconded by Commis- <br /> sioner Knecht, to accept the minutes of the Febru- <br /> ary 8, i978, Regular Business Mee�ing. The motion <br /> carried unanimously by voice vote. <br /> Chairman �chlesinger welcomed Mr. John J. Castle to the Commission. <br /> (Corr�nissioner Pound arrived at T:41 p.m,) <br /> �ORRESPONDENCE <br /> Co►rnnissioner Weintraub indicated that she no longer wished to receive <br /> the Park Maintenance magazine in her Commission packet. She felt that <br /> the magazine was a waste of her time, and the company's money to print <br /> and s�nd. It was the consensus of the Commission to discontinue this <br /> service. It was pointed out to the Commission that theirs were compli- <br /> mentary copies and that the staff had informed the publisher to cease <br /> sending them. � � <br /> AGENDA ITEM 1 . Presentation - Budgie Hobbyists <br /> � <br /> Representatives from the Budgie Hobbyists were unable to attend; there- <br /> fore, this agenda item was carried over to a future meeting. <br /> -1- <br />
