RECREATION DIVISION MONTHLY REPORT <br /> APRIL 1978 <br /> ADULT SPORTS & AQUATICS <br /> Adult Softball <br /> During the month of April , the Adult Softball Leagues started practice <br /> and league play. Ninety-seven (97) men's teams and twenty-five (25) <br /> women's teams are participating. Games are played Monday through <br /> Friday and on Sunday evenings. There are sixteen (16) different <br /> classifications of leagues organized. Approximately two thousand <br /> individuals are playing Adult Softball in Redwood City. <br /> C_o-Ed Volleyball <br /> The Co-Ed Volleyball League concluded the third round of league play <br /> in April . League play started back in late September. Volleyball <br /> season will start again next fall . <br /> The drop-in program at Sequoia High has also concluded. The gym has <br /> been open to the public on Thursdays since September. <br /> Teen Basketball Leaque <br /> The boys teen basketball league continues to run. In the Junior Divi- <br /> sion, playoffs have just started. The Senior Division will conclude <br /> their season on May 4. <br /> -9- <br />
