This cpncluded the elementary after school program. <br /> Attendance for this program was good at all three schools. <br /> Scholarship Fund <br /> The Parks & Recreation Department will offer scholarships for ne�dy youth <br /> in Redwood City this summer. The San Mateo County social workers will <br /> help us in distributing applications to their client's children. Appli- <br /> cations a7so will be available at Probe Center, Fair Oaks Comnunity <br /> Center, Red Morton Center and the Co►�nunity Activities Building. <br /> The funds used for this program are donated to the Department from <br /> various interested groups such as the Peninsula Nills Junior Wanen's <br /> Club, Lyons Club, Kiwanis, etc. to assist these youth in participating <br /> in various activities. Programs that involve fees such as camping, <br /> swimming les�ons, excursions, crafts, etc. , consume the scholarship <br /> fund. <br /> -11- <br />
