' - .. � �.. <br /> RECREATION DIVISION MONTHLY REPORT <br /> MAY 1978 <br /> SPORTS & AQUATICS <br /> Adult Softball <br /> The adult softball league continues to run smoo�Chly. 7here are 122 teams <br /> involved and they are nearing completion of the first half of league <br /> play. <br /> Youth Softball <br /> Girls Peppermint Patty has 9 teams organized. The girls are now practicing. <br /> League games will start in mid June. <br /> The Girls Teen League has 5 teams organized and their league games will <br /> also start in mid June. <br /> Th� Boys Youth Softball League has 4 teams organized. They have just <br /> begun practicing and league games are scheduled to begin in mid June. <br /> Swimming Pools <br /> Both pools are ready for the summer program. Hoover Pool was opened <br /> to the public during the Memorial Day weekend. Community Pool will <br /> be open on weekends starting June 3 with summer scheduling starting on <br /> June 19. <br /> -12- <br />
