Weeks <br /> Administrative Assistant Tom Ferrando <br /> AUDIENCE: Ruth Berlin, Karen Thomas <br /> The adjourned meeting was called in order that the Commission might discuss <br /> in detail the priorities for proposed projects for the Capital Improvement <br /> Program for Fiscal Year 1976-77. <br /> P1r. Weeks reminded the Commission that in discussing the matter at their <br /> regular business meeting they had indicated that, insofar as park areas were <br /> concerned, Canyon Park woul.d be the Number 1 Priority. He further stated <br /> that it had been suggested that the Commission should also prioritize indiv- <br /> idual projects within the park areas. <br /> Commissioner Knecht inquired whether Staff had received additional information <br /> with respect to the Capital Improvement Program since the last regular businss <br /> meeting. Mr. Weeks indicated that nothing new had developed. He suggested <br /> that it might be beneficial if the Commission were to review all of the projects <br /> and the areas. He reminded the Commission that some projects needed to be <br /> completed in a logical sequence, especially those at Canyon Park. He indicated <br /> that with respect to the types of projects that were being proposed at Canyon, <br /> (site prep, grading, irrigation and turfing) the decision to begin work in <br /> the park would have to include all of these elements initially. He further <br /> indicated that the question of developmental sequence was less important when <br /> considering projects being proposed in other areas. <br /> Several commissioners voiced their opinions with respect to beginning the <br /> development of Canyon Park. P�r. Weeks indicated that there might be some <br /> difficulty in receiving approval for projects which would result in the <br />
